I’ll definitely be coming back soon for dinner. The ambiance was really nice, and the food did not disappoint. The service was okay, maybe my server was new, as I had to ask for a few basic things like utensils and napkins. Hopefully, that improves next time, but overall still a good experience.

We had an amazing dinner. Our server Andy was so great! We came close to closing time for hibachi, and they still served us. The food was delicious. The service was amazing. Everyone was so welcoming even though we came in so late. We have been to so many hibachi places, and this has been the best experience we have had by far. We will definitely be coming back!

I’ve been twice already and each time the service has been amazing. My friend recommended this spot because I was craving sushi in the Richmond area and I’m glad she did. The rolls were delicious and flavorful with each bite. I really enjoyed the Fuji volcano roll. I know butter is probably sacrilegious for sushi, but with the scallops and shrimp on top, I’m obsessed highly recommend that. I was not expecting the sweetheart roll to look like an actual heart so that was really cute. We wanted a healthy version of the general tso chicken which isn’t fried so they were very accommodating with our special order. The customer service has been outstanding every time we have come here. And the interior of the restaurant is actually stunning. You don’t feel like you’re in the suburbs. If you have problems picking out what to eat, don’t skip this place. One day we’ll try the hibachi because it did look entertaining and popular.

My sister, daughter and her friends and I ate at this restaurant this past weekend. We had reservations at 7pm, and arrived about 7:10pm. We were seated immediately. My sis and I sat at the bar while my daughter and her friends sat at the grill/stoves. Place was clean, service was amazing (shoutout to Damie*), and the food was AMAZING! I wish there was more (portion size) of the rice/protein. Maybe you don’t get as much food if you don’t sit at the grill/stove. But I’m definitely going back! New fav hibachi spot!

Beautiful interior and service. Now that shogun is gone this place is my go to hibachi nearby. Food was seasoned well and delicious. Lunch menu and specials were practically priced. Will be coming back for dinner soon.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Akashi Hibachi, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Right from the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and enjoyable. First off, the parking was great. Not only was there ample parking, but they also had dedicated spots for handicap access, which was thoughtful. When we walked in, we were pleasantly surprised that there was no wait at all. The restaurant wasn’t full, so we were seated almost immediately, which was a great start to the evening. The interior of Hibachi is modern and inviting. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxing meal, with soft music playing in the background that added to the chill vibe. The layout was spacious, and there were more than enough seats, giving us plenty of room to settle in and enjoy our time. Our server, Maria, deserves special mention. She was incredibly cordial and professional, attending to us with just the right amount of attentiveness. Maria checked in periodically to make sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive, which we really appreciated. The food was a highlight. It arrived relatively quickly, and every dish was delicious. Our drinks were equally impressive—fresh and perfectly mixed, adding a nice touch to the whole experience. Despite all we ordered, the prices were very affordable, making this one of the best value-for-money meals I’ve had in a while. All in all, Hibachi provides a great dining experience with its excellent service, delicious food, and chill atmosphere. It wasn’t crowded, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal, and I’ll definitely be returning soon.

I celebrated my birthday here and we had a great time! Booking through Google was easy and confirmed quickly. It was our first visit and we’ll definitely be back. Our hibachi chef wasn’t as interactive as others we saw, but he still made the experience fun—especially for the kids! My 7-year-old loved catching the rice. The food portions were huge (we all needed takeaway boxes), and the special roll we ordered was delicious. Service was great, too!

The shrimp tempura was excellent, see the photos, highly recommend. In past 8 years I had tried two other locations, this one is new in Richmond area. They don’t have online order yet, tried pickup order twice. I always order sashimi and some other rolls. This time I tried tempura shrimp. Highly recommend
